Careers
Woodside Tattoo is interested in people who take the craft seriously, communicate well with clients, keep their work area organized, and understand that consistency matters as much as personality.
What We Look For
- Care about the work. We want people who take pride in doing tattoos properly, not just quickly.
- Straight talk with customers. You will be in someone's home or business explaining what you found. Plain language beats jargon.
- Reliability. Showing up when you said you would matters more here than any single line on a resume.
- Respect for the property. Protecting the space, cleaning up, and leaving it better than you found it.
- Safety, every time. Following safe practice is part of the job, not an extra.
Experience in tattoos or a related trade helps. If you have the attitude and not yet the trade experience, say so, because we do train.
Roles We Hire For
We are a small team, so openings come and go with the work. These are the roles we hire into.

Tattoo Apprentice
Learn the working habits behind professional tattooing, including drawing, reference preparation, design scale, workstation discipline, client communication, and observation of experienced artists. An apprenticeship requires patience and consistent effort rather than a quick path to tattooing clients.

- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfort working with appointments and client questions
- Reliable follow-through
- Professional, welcoming manner
Benefits
- Creative small-business environment

How to Apply
Email contact@woodsidetattoo.com with "Careers" and the role in the subject line. Include:
- A short note about the kind of work you have done
- Your resume, or simply a list of previous jobs and dates
- The area you can reliably get to
- A phone number and the best time to reach you
We read every application. If there is a fit, expect a short phone conversation first, then a meeting and a ride-along on a job so you can see the work before you commit to it.
We do not always have an opening posted. Send your information anyway. We keep applications on file and reach out first to people who already introduced themselves when a spot opens.
